R4 Education
The R4 Initiative is a not-for-profit organization that works to promote environmental awareness and education through the implementation of free school recycling programs, presentations to the general public, donation of recycling bins to schools, publication of educational material such as interactive cd’s and production of promotional material.
R4 CD - Bois Bois Recycles in the Caribbean
As with all of the material produced, the ultimate goal is the fostering of sound recycling ethics and practices through education. This cd is the only one of its kind in the English-speaking Caribbean. It is approximately two-hours long and comprises a series of games, quizzes and stories with specially designed Caribbean characters that are geared towards capturing and keeping children’s attention. Also included is a comprehensive range of information that can be used as an excellent resource and research database. This means that information is delivered in a stimulating variety of ways to maximize retention and nurture a recycling culture.
This cd will lead to greater understanding of the interconnectedness of environmental issues and the role we all play in achieving sustainability in our communities and around the planet.
